In 2015, last time we painted our house, I had a melt down trying to figure out the color scheme. “Why is this so hard,?” I wondered. I’m an artist; I live and breathe color. Yes, I came up with a pleasing scheme but the process was taxing.
Due to personal fascination, I eventually took a general color consulting class and the two exterior ones. Turns out there are specific design rules which, when followed, lead you fairly directly to the right combination for your house. That said, part of the process involves testing!
