House on a Hill

The co-owner of this fine house wanted cohesion and classiness.  We both wanted to showcase the shingles, and create a backdrop for the garden (a labor of love).   I wanted to visually cool things down, as it’s hotter than heck on that hill.  Where do you start?

A few windows had been replaced with cream vinyl.  Thus, our trim color was chosen for us.  The body needed to be light to show off the shingles and to attract less heat.  It also needed to be different enough from the garden and look good with cream trim.   Light sage fit all the above criteria.  I’m pretty dang happy with this house!

If you’re having trouble choosing exterior color, the tail might be wagging the dog.  Color choices follow logic.  I’m here to help.  Call Amy at 360-319-4221.
